- 2 (.25 oz) packs active dry yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, salt, eggs, oil, and 3 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
- Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
- Cover and let rise until doubled. Split into two greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
